• People die every year in Africa and India from dirty water 
• Lack of water results to girls dropping out out due to puberty 
• Some countries are less fortunate so we should be grateful 
• People are spending time to find water but its useless and dirty!
• The water they drink is from animal and human waste

This week for Maori Language we had been doing art

Netball Tournament

On Wednesday,

3 teams from our middle and senior syndicate went to represent GTS for another netball tournament At St Johns netball center, My team ( the orange team) we versed Tamaki primary, Glen Brae, Panmue bridge, Te Kura Kaupapa Maori O puau te moananui a kiwa (TKKMOPTMAK) and Point England. It was a great Experience overall all the groups did an amazing job!

Mince gravy with potato salad

Mince gravy with potato salad

step 1 - Boil the potato until it is cooked
Step 2 - fry mince with one onion and add 1 cup of Bisto and flour
step 3 - serve with potato salad

Mini Quiche

Step 1 -Whisk 4 eggs with 1 cup of milk

2 -Dice the ham

3-Add cheese
line up the pastry
into the muffin tray

3 -Tin and bake 180.c for 20 mins

Mince Wrap

Step 1-Dice the onion and fry it with mince until it is cooked

- Add 2 Tlasp of flour and 1/2 cup of hot water stir for 5 mins and take it off the heat

Step 2-Cut into equal 4 pieces the pastry
-fill up the bottom sheet with mince
-close with the top sheet and seal all the edges with a folk
-Bake for 20 mins

For writing this week me and some of my friends looked at different kind of camera angles and decided to create some with the camera angles we looked at. Here is some camera angles we did. Hope you enjoy. 

Kapa Haka Performance at MATARIKI

Last term on the last week of school, the GTS Kapa haka group performed at Stonefields School. It was such an amazing experience. I had the privilege to attend the programme "Matariki Hui" and I was blown away by the beautiful performances that the students put their heart and soul into.
